I was on the phone yesterday with a lady at the Wisconsin Branch CF foundation, and she said that it is almost "sort of" urgent to raise more money, because researchers have found a medicine "drug" that may possibly correct the Cystic Fibrosis gene. Which is great, because that means a cure. Now, this new "drug" is in it's first stages of clinical trials, and needs to be "tweaked" a little more, and the goal is to possibly have the FDA approve it, and "HOPEFULLY" have it out in 3-5 years.
