As Loyal As They Come

I haven't posted about my baby for a while. Everyday I wake up to him is a great day! I love this little man. He is such a loyal dog and every night when I do my treatments he is right by my side. I always say he is as loyal as they come.

I hope everyone is doing well! I hope to write soon.

New Chapter

Today I had my final doctor appointment with my pediatric pulmonologist. PFT's were good. I've never shared my PFT print out before but here's what it looks like:

Basically the graphs measure my lung function and how much air I can blow out. My lung function stayed the same as last time, it was 96% which is truly awesome.
It was kind of sad saying goodbye to all my old friends but time to make new ones.
I got to go over to the adult CF Clinic and met some of the staff, and one doctor. I made another appt with him. he was very nice.
All in all good appointment; although doctors get pretty excited when you lose weight until they find out they have you carb counting for your CFRD(Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes). Also, i am very excited to be participating in a research project for the next 2 years. I'm pretty excited.
That's all for now. Will try to update soon!

Growing up

Its all a little surreal after 18 years; 2 clinics, 2 hospitals, & 4 doctors later the time has finally come. In 8 short days it will be my last time ever going to see my pediatric pulmonologist. I guess it means I'm officially an "adult". I now have to choose a new doctor. It will be a sad day, but I guess it's all part of growing up :)
